Given the restrictions on public gatherings due to the pandemic the meeting on the 11th will be a virtual meeting held on Zoom

The virtual nature of the meeting requires several modifications to how you can access the meeting and how the meeting will be run. Please take careful note of these points.

Since only residents are able to vote on candidates to be slated for Village boards at the meeting we will have to check participants in at the start of the meeting
To make this process as quick and efficient as possible we are requiring anyone wishing to attend the meeting on the 11th to pre-register with their name, email and home address no less than 48 hours before the meeting.
Pre-registration will enable us to quickly bring people into the meeting that evening and ensure that only residents are voting.
If there is more than one voter in a household they each must register separately and must enter the meeting on separate computers if they wish for their vote to be counted.
The virtual nature of the meeting means that only one vote can be counted per computer or mobile devise.
Registration for the meeting can be done on the Winnetka Caucus website (https://www.winnetkacaucus.org)
On the 11th if a slate of candidates is being contested the vote will be by secret ballot using the Polling function in Zoom
Please note that to participate in the meeting you will need to (A) have the Zoom application on your computer or mobile devise. If you do not have the Zoom application on your computer or mobile devise you can obtain it, free of charge, either through the Zoom website (https://zoom.us) or through the Apple or Google app store (B) participate from your computer or mobile devise using the Zoom application. It is important to note that anyone calling in to the Town Hall meeting will not be able to vote nor will you be able to ask questions or voice their opinion. Participation requires that you log in through the Zoom application
Once you have registered you will receive the information on how to access the Town Hall meeting no later than 48 hours prior to the meeting.
